Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement

This course is designed to assist the first responder in the development of behavioral strategies to ensure emotional health and survival throughout their career. Included is a review of the short and long-term effects of first responder work on both the personal and professional aspects of their lives. The goal of the course is to provide the first responder an opportunity to review the impact the career may have on one’s personal life and to develop strategies for overall emotional survival. The course meets the statutory requirement for continuing education addressed in 70 O.S. § 3311.4 (Mental Health)

Attendees will receive 2 hours of mental health training credit.
