During this two-day event, students will receive training on the investigation of circumstances surrounding basic and complex investigations seen through the lens of actual cases. Students will learn the emotional drain that an investigator will endure during a highly charged political event and about the use of video and public opinion when videos are released to the public.

Additionally, students will learn about various external and sometimes internal forces that may influence your investigation, and the media, public, and administration could react to the event and what may be expected of you during these types of investigations.
